Witness: Yes, I was driving to home when I saw the accident.

Officer: What happened?
Witness: A car hit the man.

Officer: Where is the car?
Witness: I don’t know, he left the crime scene.

Officer: Do you remember what the driver was wearing?
Witness: He was wearing jeans, boots and a blue shirt.

Officer: Did you see the license number of the car?
Witness: No, I didn’t.

Officer: What was the color of the car?
Witness: I think it was red.

Officer: Did you see anyone else at the accident?
Witness: Yeah, I saw a girl steal the man’s wallet.

Officer: Do you remember the girl?
Witness: Yes, she was that girl over there on the corner.

Officer: Hey you! The girl on the corner! Come here! Did you steal the man’s wallet?
Girl: No, I didn’t.

Officer: Show me your pockets. Is this your wallet?
Girl: No, it isn’t.

Officer: Where did the wallet come from?
Girl: From the man in the accident.

Officer: Oh, really? Do you know that this is a crime?
Girl: No I didn’t.
